OTP Confirmation for COD orders

We have seen a lot of fake COD orders in India. So, to prevent the same we came up with this feature. With this feature enabled, your customers would have to verify their COD orders on the Thank you page. Any order for which the customer doesn't verify their COD order will show up with Shopflo_phone_unverified tag so that you can reach out to that customer and check if they actually want this order.

How to configure OTP Confirmation for COD Orders?

Login to Shopflo dashboard here
Go to RTO Suite tab
Enable OTP Confirmation as show in image below

Please note: Once the customer verifies their COD order with an OPT, we mark them as a genuine customer and do not send the OTP for their next COD orders.

COD to Prepaid conversion discount

This feature is used to convert COD orders to Prepaid by incentivising the customers. This helps in decreasing your RTO by converting a COD order to Prepaid by giving a discount to the customer.

Please note - This COD to prepaid conversion nudge will show up to the customers on the Thank you page after placing a COD order. If the customer opts for it, the COD order will be cancelled and a new Prepaid order will be placed automatically.

How to configure COD to Prepaid conversion discount?

Login to Shopflo dashboard here
Go to RTO Suite tab
Enable
Set up a discount by clicking on edit discount button as shown below

COD availability and additional charges for shipping rates

This tab redirects you to the Shipping zones tab to enable/disable COD for a particular shipping rate and add additional charges for COD orders if any.

OTP Confirmation for COD orders

We can block COD option for the customers with customer tags. You can create a tag on Shopify and assign that tag to those customer for whom you want to block COD & share the name of the tag with us on golive@shopflo.com

We will get these customers blocked from backend for placing COD orders.
